Kalbi is also known as a Korean barbeque. Those who have been to this part of the world know how Koreans fancy the spicy side of the plate. Kalbi is a cutaway from the usual Sunday barbeque because of the way it is prepared.
Kalbi is marinated in a mixture of the most delicate Korean spices and mixed to create a harmony of sweetness, saltiness, and jump-start spice.
Usually, the meat is beef, and it’s marinated overnight to make sure that the taste is absorbed to the core.
Here is what you need:
- 4 pounds beef short ribs cut on the cross-section

- Six cloves of minced garlic

- 1 cup brown sugar
